Jeffrey Court was founded with a clear goal: to bring cutting-edge products made with passion and innovative design to your spaces. The formula for our lasting legacy and current industry leadership is based on three solid principles that have guided us throughout the years. (1) Timeless and fashion-forward design, (2) Constant product improvement, and (3) Dedication to our partners’ success. With this as our foundation, we have become leaders in the industry by smartly combining different decorative elements, having a keen eye for inspired design, and a wide assortment of in-stock decorative tile.


    Founded by Jim and Janice Lawson, and named for their children Jeffrey and Courtney, they opened a 2,500 sq. ft. warehouse in Placentia, CA with small factories in El Paso, TX and Juarez, Mexico to bring their love for hand-painted tiles to the mainstream market.



    Jeffrey Court begins working with international suppliers to bring a variety of designs and materials to market.



    Jeffrey Court experienced dramatic growth as we multiplied our catalog and expanded our focus on design by using natural stones to create one-of-a-kind mosaic designs and elevating traditional styles with unique materials.



    Jeffrey Court makes its national debut as we officially expanded to offer our products across the entire United States. We moved our headquarters to Corona, CA and began selling tile to Southern California distributors and design centers – what is known today as the Dealer Division.



    Jeffrey Court settles into its new corporate headquarters in an 80,000 square-foot building in Norco, CA, where we have solidified our role as a key player in decorative wall tile.



    Marking 25 years in our journey to become the premiere decorative tile brand of choice for our partners and customers.

Our Team

Scott Hassman is President of Jeffrey Court and bears responsibility for all aspects of the business. Previously he served as Executive Vice President of Sales. Prior to joining Jeffrey Court in 2004, Scott spent 20 years in the home improvement retail industry. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from the University of Phoenix. In his free time he enjoys traveling with his wife, Beth. They also enjoy drinking and making wine.




Perry Yancovich is Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development. In his role, he oversees all residential and commercial sales as well as marketing and product development. Perry has spent 25 years in the tile industry with a focus on manufacturing and independent distribution. Perry is formally educated in Architecture from Louisiana State University and still refers to New Orleans as ‘home’. In his free time, he enjoys fitness and various types of investing and has also been known to have a scotch or two.



Sr. Vice President of Sales and Business Development

Mike Manke is the Vice President of Sales for our dealer division. Working directly with the Regional Sales Managers, Mike is tasked with managing and improving the day to day sales functions across our varied customer base. He works closely with all internal departments in Norco, providing additional perspective to push projects forward. Mike especially enjoys working with our partners in their showrooms. When away from Jeffrey Court, Mike can be found enjoying time with his wife, Dena, tending to his yard, or attempting to train the family Siberian Husky, Stevie.



Vice President – Trade Sales

Derek Sloan has served as the Corporate Controller for Jeffrey Court, Inc. since 2012. In this role, Derek has responsibility for the controllership and financial reporting activities. Previously, he served as the Controller for Utility Trailer Sales of Southern California, Corp. Derek holds a bachelor's degree in accounting, an M.B.A from California State San Bernardino and is a certified management accountant. In his free time Derek likes to spend time at the Colorado River and off-roading.




Megan Weintraub is the Product Design & Development Manager of Jeffrey Court and has been with the company since 2012. Her role and responsibilities are to create, innovate, and curate collections across all three divisions. She oversees the design team through the development process from paper schematics, communication with our factory partners, receiving physical products and the rollout of each product/collection. Using her background in Interior Architecture she builds projects like a set of house plans. Some say she is picky, she says she is particular. During her free time, she loves to spend time with her beloved Pomeranian and family.



Director of Product Design & Development

January Chance is the National Accounts Director for Jeffrey Court. She joined the Jeffrey Court family in April of 2017. In her current role, she develops, maintains, and improves client relationships across multiple regions at a national level. She is responsible for the creative and careful assessment of customers’ needs and how to best achieve them. January bridges our national accounts and in - house teams to successfully execute plans for meeting those needs, as well as provide them with new products or services. January loves to spend her spare time adventuring with her family and friends



Director of National Accounts

Jon Musgrave is the Director of Operations and is responsible for the company’s day to day operations. Jon oversees warehousing, purchasing, and Customer Service. Jon brings over 30 years of experience in the tile and home improvement industry.



Director of Operations

Ryan Smith is the Director of Strategic Accounts for Jeffrey Court. He focuses on the company’s expansion into Commercial, Builder, and Distribution sectors throughout the US. Ryan has been in the tile and flooring industry for over 15 years. His experience includes being a National Accounts Manager and 5-Star National Contractor with the NTCA, and traditional flooring distribution management. Ryan graduated from Florida State University and studied Business and Environmental Engineering. A lifelong resident of Florida, Ryan enjoys regional sports, the outdoors, and spending time with his 4 children Karis, Rachel, Hailey and Linc.



Director of Strategic Accounts

Steve Woodward is the General Manager of Jeffrey Court. Before being named General Manager in 2014, Steve was Jeffrey Court’s Customer Service Manager and was responsible for all Customer Service functions including order entry, invoicing, on-time shipments, and resolving customer issues. Steve and the Jeffrey Court team have a 99.5% order shipment accuracy with a 99.4% Inventory accuracy. Steve is inspired daily by his wife and three sons. In his free time, Steve likes to camp, fish and enjoy the outdoors.



General Manager

Patty joined the Jeffrey Court team as Marketing Manager in 2018. She leads her team through all aspects of marketing from branding and packaging to establishing and maintaining our online presence. Patty holds a Bachelors degree in Business Management from USC and a M.B.A. from University of La Verne. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her newly expanded family.

Marketing Manager

Jessika Salas has been a part of the Jeffrey Court family since 2005. She leads the accounts payable and accounts receivable departments. As the Accounting Manager, she oversees the daily financial transactions with our customers as well as our suppliers. She oversees the timeliness and accuracy of the financials to ensure accounting standards are met. Jessika enjoys spending her free time with her husband, and three children, in nature among the pine trees.



Accounting Manager

Barbie Anongdeth joined Jeffrey Court in 2020 as the Purchasing Manager. For 20 years she worked for Troy Lighting, Inc., but she wanted to embark on a new adventure and graced us with her knowledge and experience. While she was growing up, she loved to play basketball. She then became passionate about football, and though she has been a fan for many years, she still doesn’t have a favorite team.



Purchasing Manager

Born in Acapulco City, Mexico, Genio Hernandez has worked for Jeffrey Court since January of 1995; when the office was located in Placentia, CA. He has been an instrumental part of the seamless daily functioning of our warehouse for years and was promoted to Receiving Manager in 2022. He has been following his favorite sports teams consisting of the Lakers, Raiders, and Angels since the 1990’s.

Jose Mendoza has worked for Jeffrey Court since April of 2001, when the company was located in Meyer Circle in Corona. He is an integral part of our warehouse operations and ensures everything runs smoothly. He was promoted to Warehouse Shipping Manager in 2022. Jose is passionate about sports. His love of sports started in the 1990s when he began following the Lakers, Raiders, and Dodgers.



Shipping Manager

Cruz Scott is the Sample Department Manager at Jeffrey Court Inc. As the Sample Department Manager, he is responsible for creating the best samples for both Home Depot and Distributer items. Cruz uses his positive energy to influence others around him to work hard and be successful. During his free time, Cruz enjoys exploring the outdoors and working out to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Cindy is an HR professional with over 20 years of experience in Human Resources. She joined our team in September of 2012 with the goal of providing employee and management support. She began her career in Human Resources in 2000 with Sears Holdings Corporation, then moved into industrial HR roles. Cindy holds a Human Resources Management Certificate from UCR. At Jeffrey Court, she provides industrial safety support to manufacturing companies using her OSHA and industrial safety studies. She is a mom and grandmother. During her free time, she loves taking road trips and spending time with her family.
