Jeffrey Court University’s installment of the Rotunda collection is an overview of the story and design inspiration behind Chapter 18. Take a look and see how our designers transformed inspiration into one-of-a-kind tile pieces.

Chapter 18 Rotunda is our take on neoclassical design. By using high-quality natural stones synonymous with the architecture found in state capitals and monuments throughout the United States we created unique yet timeless pieces. Symmetrical shapes, geometric patterns, and orderly style are some of the elements employed to complete this chapter. Mosaics like Baton Rouge and Montgomery are indicative of the collection’s ode to American architecture. New mosaics like Richmond and Topeka further reinforce the theme.

Rotunda’s clean and crisp color palette is maintained throughout this refresh. Calacatta Gold, Nero Marquina, Dolomite, and Tunisian Grey dominate the collection. The striking veining found in each of these stones is the focus element that brings color and movement into the materials. Additionally, this collection contains mosaics that combine marble, limestone, and porcelain to create truly one-of-a-kind pieces.
